Running so other women don't have to

Last year when I wrote the post below I did not know how my life would change following it... And I am so grateful for it!

I was selected by Refuge to represent them as London Marathon Runner of the Month which led to then being invited again by the London events team with other incredible women to feature in their International Women's Day Campaign. All this before I had a marathon to run...

I am so pleased that thanks to you all, I was able to raise £2,455. Refuge is a small charity and the work they do, to put it in just a few words, saves lifes. So for that reason, this year I am running again, this time the Virtual TCS London Marathon, but if I am here, asking you once again to support, surely there is a twist.

I am setting off at midnight and retracing my steps from last year without any of the support that will later in the day be crowding the roads. Reclaiming our streets, representing all women who feel unsafe.

Once again, running so other women don't have to. This will be training for what's to come in June. A 24 hour race!
